The process of making films have largely been the basis of how I express my self even though I have toyed in other mediums like Comic Books. It has become a little contradictary when I say film is a form of self expression yet in previous pages I talk about it being a collaborative work.

Perhaps I can explain it a little better here. While the process of making a movie requires the talent, cooperation and creative contribution by others, it can also be a way that an artist express himself. Perhaps this is why I choose my producers carefully as I understand the dynamics of the politics yet I do not want to settle for anything less than what's in my head. I, too, have to understand that there are many factors that will prevent me from doing so. But I also believe that art should be shared. A vision is supposed to be shared. And if I can't convince and share it with my crew, then the film doesn't deserve to be made.

The reasons my film tend to have a darker edge, is that I always am a firm believer that nothing is greater than the mind of the audience. I feel like showing them everything hinders their imagination. The darkness always proves to be more interesting. People are scared of the darkness because their mind tend to wander off into negative collective thoughts. They think about evil things in the dark, because they assume that just because they don't know or can't see what's on the other side, there is an automatic assumption that it is evil. Well, pity them... they are missing out on a lot.

I hope the movies I make continue to excite people about the possibilities of visual and story telling. And I hope what I can provide in the following pages (links on the left) will give people a glimpse of my head through the celluloid.
