Nellie Bly is a famous reporter in the 1920s know for unconvering many truths behind her stories.
In her latest scoop, she decides to feign mental illness to uncover the truth behind the ill-treatment
of female inmates in Bedlam Asylum.
When she arrives at the Bedlam, she discovers that her suspicions were true. As she begins her
investigations inside the asylum, she learns about a special wing in the asylum called the
'Fantasy Land' Wing. Patients who are suffering from Fantasy Land Delusions and are classified
as dangerous are sent to the wing. Knowing that her investigations will not be complete unless
she goes into that wing, Nellie promptly feigns more illness to check herself in there.
In there, she meets two patients, Dorothy Gale and Alice Liddel. Once claims to live in a fantasy
land known as 'Oz' and another calls her delusions 'Wonderland'. But as Nellie will discover,
the girls may not be as crazy as they seem.
Electro-therapy, Saturation Chambers, Sensory Deprivation Tanks are amongst the torture
the female in-mates have to endure. And when Nellie herself begins hallucinating, she wonders
whether the girls are truly insane, or whether, like all the sick treatments in there, are enough to
make any sane woman insane.
