Goetia refers to a practice which includes the invocation of angels or the evocation of demons. Many have asked about my tattoos regarding these symbols.
Ars Goetia, which is tattooed (and customized as an Ouija Board) on my stomach was first said to be used by King Solomon to evoke 72 demons who was obliged to work for him. He confined them into a seal called Ars Goetia, engraved in bronze. The Ars Goetia assigns a rank and a title of nobility to each member of the infernal hierachy, and gives the demons "signs they have to pay allegiance to" otherwise known as seals, which are tattooed on my left and right arms.
While there are accusations that I toy with demonology, I prefer to look at it as a gateway of creative freedom. The minds of human and the tangible world can only go as far as what we know, which is also translated as what our five primary senses can educate us. But there are colors we do not know, pictures we do not see, shapes we can not comprehend, all these are accessible in this other world that necromancy has allowed us to connect to.
So how would I use the Goetia to work. Everybody has their own ways of invocating and evocating demons to use for their own use. What works for me, will not work for you. But remember that you have to pay huge amounts of respect to those that you seek and ask for help. Like humans, one cannot simple treat demons or spirit guides as mere servants for your own personal profit and gain. Take time to respect them, learn from them, ask for their guidance. It is a relationship that needs to be cultivated and developed. Do not treat anything as trivial. That seems to be a weakness in a lot of people. |
